Down 8 lbs, New Scale

Officially down 8 lbs. , However We went out this weekend and bought a new digital scale, I set it on the carpet in my Bathroom and it said 156 lbs.................wow awesome scale down 100 lbs in 3 days! Oh well obviously a Mal function due to carpet, so onto the tile it went and now for the accurate weight 250 uggghhh...should have stuck with the old scale!

This weekend made a super lean Chicken Chili consisting of grilled boneless chicken breasts finely chopped, can of diced tomato, Large can of Chili Beans, small can of White beans, small can of black beans, Garlic and Onion Powder, Chili Powder, Red Hot, some Indian spice, Crock potted it for about 5 hours Good Stuff!

Also went out for Sushi, Sushi on the surface appears very healthy, but you must really read up on calories, stick to more sashimi and stay away from the "designer" rolls again real commonsense stuff

Update on Diet, Weighed in not as scary as I was expecting

So last night I got home, and as I mentioned yesterday it was a quick dinner night, I looked up on the internet a bunch of various calorie amounts for various Pizza Places Cheese Pizza, and basically when compared and broken down by Ounces 3.1 ounces of thin sliced cheese pizza works out to 210 Calories........So I put the paper plate on the food scale and put three slices (one normal size others on the small size) and came up with nine ounces...........not too bad. this added to my calories already consumed brought me up to 1281 for the day.....Later on watching American Idol (damn I'm admitting way more than I want too in this blog..lol) I had a skinny cow Chocolate on Chocolate Ice cream Sandwich 140 calories for a grand total of 1421..........And with that my Pie hole was shut!

I also jumped on the scale, and I figured I'd be around 250, and much to my surprise 245.......and also Jeans are actually a 38.

Today's menu Health Mex Chicken Burrito from Rubio's with the side of Rice and an Ice tea

Dinner....Will Be fish and shrimp Tacos, consisting of Corn Tortillas, Grilled Talapia, and Shrimp, A coleslaw tossed with Low Fat Ranch dressing, and black beans.........I will give a caloric breakdown tomorrow.

Exercise will be a fast walk for a half hour:

Shut your Pie Hole

Ok so here is the scoop, I am officially disgusted with myself and am weighing somewhere in the vicinity of 250 lbs......uggghh

About 5 years ago I had widdled myself down to about 200 lbs (very lean for me) and was sporting size 34's. Now I realize I am never gonna be small but my age and my waist now match (40) and that's just not acceptable.........so its back to what worked a few years back,

The Shut Your Pie Hole Diet......nothing fancy real common sense stuff, Eat 1500 calories a day, exercise and keep track of it all. Only difference this time I'm gonna keep track of it here. I will post pictures in the next day or so (scary) and do an official weigh in and waist measurement.

I will also include my actual diet as well.

Here are some ideas I used last time and will incorporate again.

1. I don't eat breakfast! I know this goes against every diet and nutrition standard known to man, but frankly I am busy at work in the morning and it is the easiest time to keep the Pie Hole shut, I like to have a few calories left in the early evening when I am actually hungry.

2. I went on all of the major fast food websites in the area and printed off their nutritional info, this way I have a book of acceptable lunches.

3. No sugar soda nothing spells Fat Ass like a can of Coke.......

Here is what I have had so far today

1. Large Chili from Wendy's 340 calores 9G of Fat
2. Wendy's Baked Potato 283 Calories 0G of Fat
3. Reduced Fat Sour Cream 28 Calories 4G of Fat

It's a quick dinner tonight as we are running kids around to various practices so its Pizza!

But instead of the Normal 6-8 slices it will be 2 slices in the vicinity of 4oz a slice (about 500 calores) and a spinach salad with a little vinegar.

then when watching TV a Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich!

Also Drink will be ice tea.......

Sorry we have been neglecting the blog as of late but it is for exciting reasons

We have been working hard behind the scenes on completely revamping Rummagemonkey.com and hope to launch the new site sometime around the beginning of May.

We are dubbing it Myspace meets Ebay, and feel we have created a model that will give vendors the ability to get a great link, create a great profile of their business, and be able to index all of their products on Rummagemonkey.com's growing network.

In addition individuals will be able to post their classifieds absolutely free, and have a simple interface to carry out communication with their buyers.........

Yikes....Woke up this morning and I'm 40!

I started to right a syrupy reflection on where the time went and then my office phone rang, and when I answered I got a "happy birthday" from my Eight year old and I knew all was right with getting older! She wanted to know if she was the first family member to call me, and was thrilled when I told her she was, my then very sad five year old daughter got on the phone and wished me happy birthday as well! My wife explained to me that she was sad because she could not understand why I'd go to work on my birthday! I told her that daddy's birthday was not a national holiday yet but to hang in there it might be one day!
